Engagement

Lazers vs. Mullets ??

Over the course of this wedding season we’ve worked with many different couples who all share different stories and special moments that are pretty interesting to learn about. One of the Engagement Films (E-Films) that we recently showed, Lazers & Mullets, is a short piece about a typical Saturday morning/afternoon for Lacey and Zeyad during the Summer.

More about Lazers & Mullets on our blog.

Some “Things” just make sense.

FEATURED FILM

Our first meeting with Maninder and Gurprit was a real treat. After grabbing a bite to eat and discussing their wedding details, we could really get a feel for the dynamic between them and knew their EFilm should reflect their upbeat nature. So on to the drawing board and away we went…

Timing is Everything

Last fall Gen approached us with the hopes of creating a unique piece to be played as part of her speech to her mother and future husband on her wedding day. So needless to say over the winter months we tossed ideas back and forth on how to go about incorporating this video to flow with her speech. The scrap book that Gen was working on was a gift to be given to her mother after the wedding and the pictures were all to be on display at their reception.

How Alok Proposed to Danika

The wheels were in motion months before Alok got down on one knee to propose to Danika. When he called us up with the idea, we thought it was pretty slick and wanted to build a story around the days leading up to the proposal.

Adriano spent time working with Alok’s idea and storyboarded the events you see here. We really wanted this piece to reflect Alok’s personality so it was important for us to not only focus on the serious side of the events, but to give you a bit of comic relief, which is not so uncommon when Alok and his brother Tarry get together. (You might recognize Tarry from one of our most recent wedding trailers… Lisa & Tarry Got Married Twice)

Amy & Fil’s Engagement Film

FEATURED FILM

We spent a couple of days storyboarding and shooting this engagement film about Amy & Fil. We really wanted to play on their unique personalities to give you a sense of who they really are. Fil’s dry sense of humour along with Amy’s impersonations had us in tears all afternoon during the studio session. It was viewed by all 300 guests as an introduction for Amy and Fil to enter the ballroom at their reception.
